The I Am Power Event aims to cultivate the minds of both males and females, on the topic of mental health through music, debate and discussion.
We provide two questions up for debate/discussion during the event, which explore issues that affect us in our community specifically related to 1. Adult Wellbeing and 2: Child Wellbeing.
It’s a safe environment where everyone tends to contribute by asking, or respond to the questions up for debate and sharing of personal experiences happens. Many have informed us that openness from those that share experiences in how mental health has/is affecting them or their families during the event has been liberating and encouraging. With many leaving with enlarged friendship groups as a result of connecting on the night.
