The I Am Power event aims to cultivate the minds of both men and women, on the topic of mental health through music, debate and discussion. We provide two questions up for discussion during the event, which explore issues affecting our community, specifically related to adult and child wellbeing.

I Am Power provides a safe environment for discussion. Everyone is encouraged to contribute by either asking or responding to the questions up for discussion and many participants will openly share their personal experiences. Many have informed us that openness from those that share experiences in how mental health has/is affecting them or their families during the event has been liberating and encouraging. With many leaving with enlarged friendship groups as a result of connecting on the night.

Mental Health The Arts joined us to provide attendees with some information on the healthy effects of creativity on wellbeing and their program which supports children and young people affected by mental health as a carers.
