We’re delighted to share that The National Lottery Community Fund has once again supported us to ensure our Destiny Creators community can rebuild confidence, power, and possibility throughout 2025/2026.
Through this funding, Black women accessing our support services are able to take part for free in our holistic, personalised Destiny Creators Mentoring Programme, designed to centre healing, growth, and self-determination.

About The Destiny Creators Mentoring Programme
How long is the Destiny Creators Mentoring Programme
Women are enrolled on the programme for the duration of 12 months where they will access free personal development and healthy relationship workshops. All participants will be invited to attend a celebration day and awarded with a certificate on completion of the programme.
Who can apply to join the Destiny Creators Mentoring Programme
We welcome referrals from local authorities, local groups and organisations supporting women born of African & Caribbean heritage from 18 years upwards affected by but not limited to cultural harmful practices, domestic/sexual abuse and care experienced that are residents of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and surrounding boroughs.
First steps to make a referral?
You will need to submit your interest to refer a women to us by emailing mentoring@amourdestine.org.uk.
Here’s what to include in your referral:
Full name, Your organisation/companies name, confirm the ethnicity and needs of the women you are referring meets the criteria i.e over 18, African or Caribbean heritage survivor of domestic/sexual abuse and/or care experienced.
When will I know if my referral has been accepted?
We aim to respond to submissions by email within 3-5 working days. Subject to availability, if your referral is accepted you will be provided with a digital registration form to complete and a place will be assigned on receipt of the completed digital forms.
Cost of the Destiny Creators Mentoring Programme
The Destiny Creators Mentoring Programme is fully supported by the National lottery Community Fund. Making places free to join but registration is required.
The Destiny Creators Mentoring Programme Dates
The programme runs on a weekly basis during term time in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and consists of a combination of group face-to-face and virtual sessions. Women will also be assigned a 1:1 mentor who will work with them outside of group sessions throughout to support them reaching their personal development goals until June 2026.
