Amour Destiné 2025 Annual Report

We are incredibly proud to share our 2025 Annual Report with you. As we reflect on the past year at Amour Destiné, we do so with deep gratitude, humility, and pride — not only in what we have achieved, but in the women, children, and communities who trusted us with their stories.

Between 2024 and 2025, Amour Destiné supported 106 women affected by domestic abuse and had an indirect impact on 128 children connected to the women we walked alongside. These numbers only begin to tell the story. Behind them are women navigating fear, courage, grief, and hope — often all at once — and choosing, time and again, to move towards safety, healing, and self-belief.

Amour Destiné was created from lived experience and from a deep understanding that African, Caribbean, and Mixed Heritage women and girls are too often failed by systems that were never designed with them in mind. This year reaffirmed why culturally responsive, survivor-led spaces are not a “nice to have”, but essential. Women told us they felt seen, believed, and supported in ways they had not experienced before. For many, this was the first time they felt safe enough to speak their truth.

Our 2025 Annual Report highlights the impact of our survivor-led advocacy, counselling, mentoring, outreach, training, campaigning, and community support for women, girls, and families affected by domestic abuse, gender-based violence, harmful practices, exploitation, and trauma across London.

We invite you to read the report, reflect on the progress made alongside our community, and continue standing with us as we work towards safer, more compassionate futures for all.
